Andrea Elpidio organized the 2 hours of body movement and Mambo turn patterns workshops in Copacabana. Afterward we all went to eat Rodizio style at Estrela do Sul. Talk about being full! This was my last dance at the 2008 DC Salsa Congress. What a weekend! Lisa Perez from Orlando's "Essential Element" Dance company, directed by Sean Wilson. She was rocking the shoes, and I was just running through the ballroom to make sure that everything was going well. DC Jon "Vino" Trevino was squeezing out the last track for the dancers on Sunday night. Lisa is a pleasure to dance with, and I always look forward to the way she follows the randomness that comes out of our social dances.
